Industrial Artworks was approached by Acorn Mobility Stairlifts to create a virtual photography studio in 3D to create still images of a stairlift in a multitude of positions. The images will be used in brochures, advertising and websites.
Usually a studio is rented out and a whole living room is built complete with furniture, carpets and of course a stairlift. This is an expensive way to create images what with all the different people and trades involved from decorators, carpenters, photographers etc. However, after the shoot the set must be dismantled and so the opportunity to create extra shots when needed is no longer there.
Now with the 3D solution if another shot is needed, it is simply set up and rendered. Additionally, we can now place the stairlift in different environments to suit the targeted client base, ie contemporary, traditional, regular.
